Nueva Carolina
We can’t hold the enthusiasm about this creative hub, the multipurpose space Nueva Carolina.
Based in Madrid, Spain. Founded to provide a complete artistic space for photoshoots, filming, events, and remote work stations, as well as providing all production services needed, the spacious greenhouse with a mooded total of 450m2 will light any creative agenda.
Filled with amazing ample natural daylight, this stage is suitable for any highlighting purpose. The studio even holds a green room for every backstage need.
So who made this real? Nueva Carolina is the result of three creative minds getting together to both create and offer creative services; Maria de Miguel and Nerea López are photographers on Antártica Estudio, together with Sara Uriarte, with her interior design and deco studio Cordero Atelier. The pastel colors and a refined Art Deco vibe are all inspired by Miami in the fifties, so lush. The design is perfectly executed with functionality in the wide and transformable halls, aligned with the quality of the materials and the small details of each decorative piece.
“It is not a mere place of work, in the scenery of Nueva Carolina everything is arranged harmoniously and suggestively.”
Classics, pieces of contemporary design and elements designed ad hoc by the studio Cordero Atelier coexist in this space, inspired by the iconic Californian Beverly Hills Hotel.
Pink velvet sofas and sculptures of brass provides a classic elegance to the space, the use of Art Deco elements, like the access doors or the rotundity of the kitchen bell, creates a unique symbiosis to the industrial environment. The space is characterised by a colorful atmosphere, filled with light, living plants and creative pulse.
